The 2015 Chevy Sonic is a fun, affordable, small car that doesn't skimp on features or quality. No matter what size car you are shopping for, at Wallace Chevrolet in Stuart, FL you are a big deal to us. We're easy to get to, just a short drive from Port St. Lucie, White City, Jupiter, or Palm City, Florida.
The Chevy Sonic comes in two flavors: a stately four-door sedan or a versatile five-door hatchback. Both come with either a naturally aspirated 1.8-liter 138hp four-cylinder or a turbocharged 1.4-liter I4 with the same power and a bunch more torque. Buyers can choose a six-speed manual or automatic transmission, which sends power to the front wheels. The turbo motor gets slightly better mileage than the 1.8-liter, so it's really a win-win option. A turbocharged, manual-transmission Sonic is EPA-rated to deliver 29 city/40 highway mpg, while the automatic earns 27 city/37 highway mpg.
Both Sonic sedans and hatchbacks offer four trim levels: LS, LT, LTZ, and RS. The LS is the bargain of the bunch, but it still comes with unexpected features like OnStar with a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, air conditioning, power locks, tilt and telescoping steering column, trip computer, and stereo with auxiliary input jack. The Sonic LT adds to those items alloy wheels, cruise control, power windows and mirrors, chrome trim, and an upgraded sound system with satellite radio. The turbo motor is an option offered on the LT trim. The Sonic LTZ gets the turbo motor as standard equipment, and also features 17" alloy wheels, fog lights, heated seats, a rearview camera, and the MyLink infotainment system with 7" touchscreen, voice commands, Bluetooth, USB port, and smartphone integration. A special "Dusk" Appearance Package for the LTZ adds leather-and-faux-suede sport seats, four-wheel disc brakes, 18" alloy wheels, and a unique body kit.
For an even sportier Sonic, select the RS trim level. The Sonic RS comes with the turbo motor standard and a special sport-tuned suspension. On top of that, it also gets the leather sport seats, unique 17" alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, and sporty body kit from the "Dusk" Package. Other options available on the RS, as well as LTZ and LT, are a sunroof and an Advance Safety Package with forward collision and lane departure warning systems.
